I am the traumatized curly girl. We have been mistreated, misguided and wronged for too long, through bad hairdressing experiences. I become the person in my chair when cutting hair, thinking about how I have felt and would want to feel.

It is my mission to change our hairdressing experience and empower curlies to live up to their curls true potential.

I am Joleigh, the first stylist in London trained and certified by the founder of ‘The curly girl method’ - Lorraine Massey in the curlbycurl™️ cutting technique and also trained and certified in the Devacurl cutting technique in the Devachan salon in New York.

I am also trained and certified by the incredible curl expert Nubia Rezo in the all Rezo techniques to take creating volume to new heights.

A Curl talk cut is an interpretation of all of these specialised techniques, combined with over 15 years of experience in curls.

From opening Curl talk 5 years ago just a one man band trying to change our experience one curl at a time to now a powerful team of 7! We are unmatched with our knowledge and the education we give our curl friends through the bespoke service we give, customised to You!

We also specialise in the best techniques for colouring curls such as Pintura highlights. With this technique, your hair is painted Curl by Curl for a personalised, natural colour made to suit your individual curls!
